Pros:
I really like the mood of this image - it is whistful, grim, mysterious all at the same time. The b&w definitely adds to it, leaving more to the viewer's imagination and fitting the theme. I also really like the movement created by the birds and the clouds.
Cons:
As for cons, technically a few places pop out as strange to me. The first thing I noticed is that the biggest leaves in the tree seem grainier - is it because of scaling, or is that intentional? Compared to everything else in the image, they just don't seem quite right.

Another technical thing I'm not too sure about are the white oreols around the birds. They don't seem quite right and distract from the center of the image.

Lastly, I'm bugged by the center-right upper part of the image. There are leaves, the clouds, birds around it, but that part is suddenly and abruptly empty. Perhaps the cloud that swirls upwards along with the birds could be continued a little more to the right close to the edge of the image, making the composition appear more connected. Also I'm not sure if those are stars I see in the otherwise empty area - if so, those could be made a little stronger. Ah, upon looking carefully I noticed that the birds themselves actually go rightwards from the cloud and would complete the composition, if not for the fact that they're a bit hard to see.
Overall opinion/feedback:
All in all this is a very strong image and I love the feeling about it. With some relatively minor tweaks I believe it could have even more impact and a better flow.

Pros:
- This pic is dominated by a depressed look, which kind of transferes itself to the viewer. Good work with the moody colours.
  • The composition seems good to me, especially the way you achieve balance in the sky.
Cons:

  • It might be the colour that causes it, but it seems to me like some of the leaves are a bit out of focus.
Overall opinion/feedback:
This reminds me of the scene with Voldemort in Harry Potter and the goblet of fire. I think it's the colours and the look of that guy...
